               Sahakar Maharshi Shankarrao Mohite-Patil born on 14th Jan 1918. He started social work from 1936. He was member of Legistative Assembly(M.L.A) from 1952 to 1977 representing 225-Malshiras constitency. In 1960, he established Co-operative sugar factory named as Yashwant Sugar and served as Chairman till 1979.
               Intial capacity of the factory was only 1000 TCD. It was increased to 1750 TCD in 1968. Again in 1992 capacity was increased from 3000 TCD to 4000 TCD. In the same year Distilliery project having capacity of 60000 Ltrs and Acetic acid production project of 600 per annum was set up. After first successful sugar industry, visionary Lt. Hon. Shankarrao Mohite-Patil established another sugar factory, Shri. Shankar S.S.K Ltd. in 1968. His another move in Co-operative sector was to set up biggest Chicken Poulty in 1965. Shivamrut Milk fedeation was established by him in 1976. Today, daily milk collection of the plant is 175 lakh liter's. He was Chairman of Solapur D.C.C bank and Land Developement bank. He was aware about the importance of education, so established Shikshan Prasarak Mandal. in 1948. He is founder of Deccan Sugar Institute, Pune and Maharashtra Rajya S.S.K Sangh Ltd, Mumbai. The Co-operative complex established by him is landmark of his social,agricultural and educational work.
               Hon. Shri. Vijaysinh Shankarao Mohite-Patil was born on 12th June 1944. After sad demise of his belived father he took responsibility of Co-operative complex on his own shoulder.He started social work in 1962. He served as President of Solapur Zilla Parishad from 1971 to 1979, and was MLA representing Malshiras from 1980 to 2009. He was also a Minister for PWD and Tourism & Rural Development for over 25 years. His work in Tourism ministry is appreciated by Maharashtrians. In that time he established sugar factories, milk dairies & processing industries, poultry farms, schools, nursing college, engineering college and a D.Ed College in Malshiras Taluka. He was chairman of S.M Shankarrao Mohite-Patil S.S.K Ltd, formarly known as Yashwant Sugar. Like his father he continued to contribute in Co-operative sector by establishing spining mill, Vijay Poultry, Ranjit Poultry, Transport Sangh,Shivkrupa Poultry, Shivsankhar Bazar, Engineering College. Today under his proactive and organised leadership social, educational and co-operative institutes are growing continuously.
               Hon. Shri. Jaysinh Shankarao Mohite-Patil was born on 1st December 1949. He started social work in 1972. He was chairman of S.M Shankarrao Mohite-Patil S.S.K Ltd. from 1988 to Oct.1996. He is founder and Chairman of Shankarrao Mohite-Patil spinning mill since 1980. Since 1992 he is President of Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Akluj,which prominent educational institute. He is founder Chairman of Sumitra Nagari Pathsanstha since 1988. He is president of Pratap Krida Mandal, which is sport complex. He always inspires people to be part of Co-operative and Educational movement started by his father. He is strongly interested in various social and cultural activities in the city.
